About Si'l Vous Plaît
Si'l Vous Plaît is an independent publishing, performance, and human-movement company founded by author Philippe Mignon. We create books, educational content, performance resources, and technology concepts centered on one transformative idea: helping people see, prepare, move, and perform with greater awareness. Our flagship book, Mylo's Blind Spot, introduces young soccer players to scanning, spatial awareness, positioning, decision-making, and understanding the space around them. We explore the game beyond field geometry, studying the profound relationship between the human body and the geometry of the field.
Our philosophy is that position is not simply a location—it is a state of readiness. Players must perceive, scan, organize the body, establish strong contact with the ground, prepare their movement, and interact with the ball and surrounding space. We are developing four connected areas: Publishing, Performance, Movement Technology, and Aether Motus—our long-term vision for assistive and prosthetic movement technology. Soccer is our starting point because it provides a powerful environment for studying human movement, perception, adaptation, and decision-making.
